2005 Dun Mare
Surreal is Annah Chester's ridden mare for the 2010 season. Now in their second year in the under saddle shows, Surreal continues to mature and improve and they made a great start to the season with a 1st under saddle at Lampeter Stallion Show.

2004  Bay Mare
Cariad Coch is a very elegant mare who was shown with great success as a filly.  She's currently proving herself to be a very useful broodmare but by no means has she retired from the show ring yet: who knows when she'll be back out on  the show circuit... She is in foal to  Victoria Montgomery for 2011.

2003 Chestnut Mare
Tlws is one of the most successful of the Pensawel Studs mares under saddle to date, having gained great success in her first year out as a four year old including ridden champion at Cothi Bridge (2007).  2008 saw more successes in the ridden classes including 2nd place at the Carmarthen WPCA show & 3rd at the Bath & West Show.  She has taken a couple of years off from showing and has had a very strong boned black colt by Victoria Montgomery (Trevallion Picasso x Victoria Flying Lady by Thorneyside Flyer) in 2010 and is in foal to the same stallion for 2011

Jewel has had a beautiful bay filly by Victoria Montgomery in 2011.

Paper Roses is quite simply an exceptional mare.  She was medalled as a yearling when still with the Hall's in Goodwick and has just got better and better as she continues to mature.  She has been champion at numerous shows since arriving at Pensawel Stud both in hand and under saddle and in 2008 was third at the Royal Welsh in the barren mare class as well as 1st at Fishguard & Reserve Champion in Hand, with an identical result at Lampeter Agricultural Show as well.

2009 saw her back out exclusively in hand.  Many more wins and championshipsand a credible 5th at the Royal Welsh. See the News and Results page for more details.  A firm favourite with visitors to the stud, she is definitely one to watch.

2002 Bay Mare
Cariad is a quality broodmare by Cascob Ceredig, who has produced a number of exceptional progeny particularly for the Lynbrie Stud, including Cariad's half brother Lynbrie Gerrard,champion at the Royal Welsh as a yearling.  Cariad is in foal to Victoria Montgomery for 2011

2000 Bay Mare Quickstep is the dam of Pensawel Grand Slam, the yearling colt that Kate is showing this year, as well as Kiron Elegance a 2007 filly (For Sale) and Kiron Danzy Jones, the stud stallion at Brynarcal in the Midlands.  A sweet natured mare, she has done her owners proud again this year (2010), producing a dun colt by Rhencullen Cassanova.

1997 Bay Mare
Rhian is a beautiful welsh cob who Meredith simply could not resist buying and who can blame him?  Broad in all the right places, she had a late filly foal by Pennal Calon Lan in 2009, so was left empty for 2010. She is in foal to  Victoria Montgomery for 2011

2002 (bay) skewbald
The only non pedigree at Pensawel, Meredith's mare Lowri has rewarded the stud with a succession of smart foals For 2011 she is in foal to Victoria Montgomery.
